📰 News: Generative AI could add $4.4 Trillion annually to global economy - McKinsey report

According to a new report that examined 850 jobs across 47 countries, leading consulting firm McKinsey estimates that generative AI could add somewhere between $2.6 trillion to $4.4 trillion annually to the global economy.
For reference, that’s more than the annual GDP of Canada (~ $2 trillion), Australia (~ $1.7 trillion), and Spain (~ $1.4 trillion).
The report states that McKinsey expects 75% of the value of generative AI to fall across 4 areas: Customer operations, marketing and sales, software engineering, and R&D.

According to a Reddit user, ChatGPT is allegedly gearing up to launch a new round of much-anticipated features that include: profiles, file uploading, and organizations and workspaces.
