🤖 News: Stanford’s AI avatars simulate human behaviour
Stanford and Google researchers published a paper on Generative Agents which explores the use of generative models to simulate human behaviour realistically.
25 AI avatars with memory, reflection, and planning capabilities were placed in a simulated town similar to The Sims. These agents were found sharing information, forming new relationships, and remembering their friends. They hosted events like political rallies and Valentine's Day parties showcasing human-like behaviour.

🧠 Insight: Will programming skills be replaced by AI?
According to a new study on the future of employment, automation will likely impact close to 50% of programming jobs by 2030. Contrary to earlier assumptions that the role of programmers would evolve alongside AI advancements, the study suggests that their job will primarily entail data analysis and collection to support the creation of software by AI algorithms.
