1. Chrome gets new AI features: Gemini in the Chrome browser is rolling out to all US users, adding cross-tab reasoning and contextual understanding. Users can ask Gemini to clarify content, compare information across tabs, and recall past browsing sessions. Google is also testing agentic features that will let Gemini act on a user’s behalf — from filling shopping carts to rescheduling deliveries, while keeping checkpoints for sensitive actions. 2. Nvidia invests $5B in Intel, turning its rival into a partner: The chip giant is acquiring a 4% stake in Intel, and teaming up to build multiple generations of AI-focused data centers and PC chips. Intel will manufacture chips optimized for Nvidia’s AI data center infrastructure and produce consumer x86 RTX SoCs with integrated GPU chiplets. The partnership will rely on Nvidia’s NVLink technology to accelerate data transfer between CPUs and GPUs for AI tasks.

3. Notion introduces AI agents: The productivity platform is rolling out its first AI agents, that can build pages and databases, analyze feedback, and draft emails. Snowflake CEO Sridhar Ramaswamy: AI is an existential threat to many existing companies

"If you are in the business of making software for customer support, obviously that has to change a lot because the reason for your software's existence all of a sudden is dramatically lower," he noted.

Memory and context will define the next generation: Unlike stateless models that "act like a day one intern," successful AI systems need to learn from previous interactions and maintain context across conversations.

Start small, win big. Ramaswamy advises starting with modest business goals and building incrementally. "All too big to fail projects fail," he said. Snowflake applies this internally, developing tools like its Raven sales application on smaller, proven AI components.

The future is outcome-driven. Beyond compute power, Ramaswamy sees pricing models shifting toward business impact, rewarding companies that deliver measurable results.
