📰 News: Facebook’s new AI tool generates music for you  

Meta (Facebook’s parent company) just released its own AI music generator. Unlike Google’s AI music generator released a few months ago, this one is open to the public.

The tool, called MusicGen, produces about 12 seconds of audio from a text prompt. You can also upload audio files as a reference for MusicGen to follow the melody.

Meta says that MusicGen has been trained on 20,000 hours of music which includes 10,000 high quality licensed music tracks and 390,000 music-only tracks from media libraries like Shutterstock and Pond5.

I tried the music generator and got some pretty mixed results. You can try MusicGen for yourself here →
