How to cope with AI anxiety

Let’s face it. AI is cool, but it can also be very scary (we’ve all seen the terrifying robot movies). But if AI is here to stay, some of us might need a strategy to cope with the highs and the lows of this new tech.
Researcher in Behavioural Science and Psychology Sanae Okamoto has a few strategies we can try to cope with the AI anxiety:
Recognize AI is here: Lack of understanding about a topic can create ambiguity and unease. Understanding how AI is already integrated into daily life can make it feel less intimidating.
Prepare for future career prospects: AI will undoubtedly impact the workforce, but learning how to use AI tools can help prepare us for this shift.
Digital detox: Taking breaks from screens and digital devices can improve overall wellbeing and mood, while also reducing anxiety.

NEWS
Google new data policy means it could scrape all of the web for its AI models
Google recently changed its privacy policy, and essentially gave itself free rein to scrape the web for content that could be used to beef up its AI models.
According to the new policy, they'll use this public information for training their AI models and enhancing products like Google Translate, Bard, and Cloud AI capabilities. They’ve even given a little touch-up to their policy lingo, trading the words "for language models" for "AI models".
Social media websites like Twitter and Reddit have recently started enforcing increasingly restrictive measures to prevent other companies from scraping data for their AI models.
As the battle for data heats up, the internet may become an increasingly less accessible place as companies strive to protect their data.
