🧠 Insight: IBM pauses hiring for 7,800 AI-replaceable jobs

IBM will reportedly pause hiring for non-customer-facing positions that could be automated. CEO Arvind Krishna anticipates up to 30% of these roles, mainly in human resources, to be replaced by AI in five years, affecting roughly 7,800 jobs. Existing staff will not be fired, but vacancies will not be filled once vacated. Read more about it here →

📰 News: Italy unbans ChatGPT and Stability AI releases its chatbot

  1. OpenAI's ChatGPT is back in Italy, indicating a reconciliation with the Italian Privacy Guarantor. The service was suspended due to privacy violations and has now been restored ahead of the April 30 deadline for OpenAI to comply with regulations. Read more about it here →

  2. Stability AI has unveiled StableVicuna, an open-source AI chatbot trained through human feedback and reinforced learning. It can assist with mathematics, coding, and grammar.
