1. Photoshop unleashes its AI image generator:

Adobe added an AI-powered image generator to Photoshop called Firefly, which allows users to add or delete elements from images with just a text prompt. It can also automatically match the lighting and style of the existing images.

Currently in beta, Adobe plans to roll it out fully by the end of this year.

2. Bill Gates sounds the AI alarm:

According to a statement released by Center for AI Safety, over 350 executives, researchers, and engineers in the field of AI are speaking up about the urgent risks and implications of advanced AI systems.

Signatories include high profile names such as Bill Gates and OpenAI CEO Sam Altman.

3. TikTok tests its chatbot “Tako” in the Philippines:

The social media giant is all set to step into the AI chatbot arena as reports suggest that they are in the early stages of testing a chatbot called "Tako", which is designed to help users find the exact type of content they enjoy.

1. AI Tool by NVIDIA Reconstructs 3D Scenes:

Neuralangelo, a new AI model by NVIDIA Research for 3D reconstruction using neural networks, turns 2D video clips into detailed 3D structures.

People can then import these 3D objects into design applications, editing them further for use in art, video game development and robotics. It goes without saying that the possibilities for creators have evolved to a whole new level!

2. ChatGPT fails in court:

A New York lawyer is facing charges in court for providing false information during a case trial. He admitted to using ChatGPT to come up with supporting information for his case filing but unfortunately the tool gave him fake cases that never existed.

The lawyer claimed he didn’t know ChatGPT also provides false content. ChatGPT may be the coolest AI tool but it ain’t Harvey Spectre.

3. Humanoid AI robots are here:

Humanoid AI robots are no longer just a thing of sci-fi movies. This year’s International Conference on Robotics and Automation (ICRA) featured many different robots capable of performing a variety of “human” tasks.
